  • Dr Raven Naidoo BSc MSC PHD - Executive Chairman

    Raven Naidoo has unparalleled experience of business and economic development, especially in the technology sector. Since 1994 he has initiated and managed a number of government sponsored and other business development initiatives, including director and architect of the GovernmentÕs premier small business development projects on Technology and Innovation Management, and Technology and Corporate Strategy; consultant to the Ministry of Trade and Industry and Coordinator of the World Bank study on Technical and Marketing Support to South African SMEs; consultant to the Ministry of Trade and Industry and Coordinator of the British ODA investigation into Business Support Services; member of the Dept of Communications e-Commerce reference team; Senior Consultant to the Cape Town Unicity on the development of an IT Strategy for the Cape Town Unicity and the Development of a Smart City; Senior Consultant to Wesgro on the State of the ICT Industry in the Western Cape; and consultant to Siemens SA on Mobile Business and the Internet.

    He was the founding managing Director of Capricorn Park, and was also the managing director of the WorldOnline division of Vodacom. Most recently he has been active in the formation of a Primgro, a black empowerment holding company as well as undertaking business development projects. He has board level positions at The Cape IT Initiative (CITI)- where he is Chairman, and the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).

    Raven has a B.Sc. form the University of Durban-Westville, an M.Sc. in Physics from the University of Durban-Westville, a Ph.D. in Physics form the University of Cape Town, and a Masters degree in the Management of Technology and Innovation from the University of Sussex, UK. He is the CEO of Future Perfect Corporation.

  • Alan Levin - Chief Technology Officer

    Alan's track record reflects a number of E-Commerce, E-Business and E-Government systems. He is a product developer and has founded almost a dozen start-up commercial and non-profit organisations. The success stories are often leveraging open source technologies.

    Prior to co-founding Future Perfect Corporation, Alan planned the provision of Internet services, connectivity, online publishing and E-Commerce for Sunesi, an E-Healthcare provider. This role expanded into a strategic planning and leadership role for IT systems and infrastructure.

    Alan was a co-founder of Intekom, the ISP 100% owned by Telkom SA. He was responsible for the Western Cape and a number of special projects including the African search engine Aardvark, the internationally acclaimed Cape Town Olympic Bid Internet presence, as well as the Two Oceans Trading community of transactions. He produced a number of Internet solutions and communities of interest. Alan spent four years, trading in Israel. He started his formal consulting career in the change management division at Andersen Consulting.

    Alan has a BSc (Computer Science and Industrial Psychology) from Wits and an MBA from UCT.

  • Mark Neville - Chief Executive Officer

    Mark has wide business experience of both B2B and B2C markets, gained selling both products and services as an employee of listed multinational companies both in Africa and the UK; as a project-based contractor for small to medium sized businesses, and as an early contributor to a number of start-up businesses or new business initiatives.

    He is an acknowledged business strategist, combining broad industry and business experience with core strategy and marketing skills, technology awareness, project management experience and passionate enthusiasm.

    Mark has an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at The University of Cape Town, and a BSc (Honours) degree in Physiology and Biochemistry from the University of Reading in the UK. He is a professional member of the Institute of Marketing Management and has had a number of published articles including his MBA thesis in the Journal of Human Resource Management. He has been a guest lecturer at the GSB for each of the last six years, contributing to the MBA marketing management and new product development courses.
